Our flight was to leave at 7:25.

Maybe because the morning was so peaceful, we completely lost track of time. Reality was setting in as we hurriedly packed our bags and left at 2:45. But it wasn't enough.

At least now we are not as stressed about the upcoming flight in a day or so...even though we can't really afford it. Either way, the extra days allotted by this mistake gives us time to do a couple of things, and to make sure we really do have everything packed. You never do remember everything. But that's the fun of this adventure. If I forgot something, maybe it wasn't really all that important. We've all heard old people say that, right? Well, maybe I'm old, because I get it.

Honestly, I'm only taking all this stuff to sort out once I get there. Get rid of what I don't want. Of course, this should have been done before I take it all on a plane. Truthfully, things are hard to lose. But it's important not to let them exceed the weight limit.

We got to try the local Burger King on the way home.
